Facilities Improvement Project: 4 New Batting Cages
Raising the Bar!
University East Little League is committed to offering a world-class softball and baseball experience for the girls and boys in the neighborhoods in and around University City and East Charlotte. Each year we adopt a new slogan to set the direction and tone of all of our efforts. The slogan for the 2021-2022 seasons is “Raise the Bar”.
This year we will continue to raise the bar for our players, coaches and families. We will raise the bar by improving our facilities to help our players train and play the game at their highest levels. The cornerstone of our Facility Renovation Plan is the installation of 4 new batting cages to allow us to train our softball and baseball players to hit at their highest level.
Double Our Capacity to Serve
We will build 4 new batting cages to allow our coaches and instructors to train our players, maximize reps and warm up before games close our fields. The installation of these batting cages will allow us to double our capacity for the numbers of players and teams each day during each practice slot. With our new cages, two teams can simultaneously practice and train at the same team, alternating locations between the field and its accompanying cage.
About This Project
We will install the 4 new batting cages using league volunteers at no labor cost to the league. The materials cost for each new batting cage is $1803.46. The total cost for all four batting cages is $7213.84. We will raise the funds for this important project through our new Batting Cage Sponsorship Packages, through our 7th Annual Fundraising Raffle and an online donation PayPal campaign on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

We are asking for you to help to help us raise $7213.84 to secure the materials to build 4 new batting cages to prepare our players for their journey to the Little League World Series! You may contribute to this campaign through Batting Cage Sponsorship, by making a cash donation of any size or by purchasing 7th Annual Fundraising Raffle tickets.
Sponsorship
Batting Cage Sponsorship Package includes a post mounted sign at the batting cage entrance and a 3ft by 6 ft banner on each end of the batting cage to highlight your support for this important cause. The cost for the Batting Cage Sponsorship is $2000 and your banner and entry sign will remain in place for perpetuity.
Donations
You may make cash donations to help cover the materials cost for our 4 new batting cages. Each donor will have the option of donating anonymously or to be recognized by name our permanent Supporter sign marker at each batting cage location.
