*$125 - non-volunteer price
The University East Summer Pitching and Hitting Academy is the perfect way for new and experienced player to get better at pitching, catching and hitting.
Baseball is fun. Baseball is a lot MORE fun when your crushing the ball at the plate! The Summer Pitching and Hitting Academy will give our players the drills that will improve their skills.
Hitting
Our program will develop their confidence at the plate, their ability to recognize pitchers, their knowledge of situational hitting and the knowledge and techniques to become effective baserunners. We also teach our hitters the effective use of bunting.
Pitching
We believe that all young players should be trained to pitch. We teach players the fundamentals of pitching, and how to effectively locate their fastball. We also teach the effective use of the change up as well as becoming a defender after each pitch.
Catching
We teach our catchers to become the captains and controllers of the defense. We provide instructions on the fundamentals of the position as well as how to call pitches.
Affordable
Priced at only $75 for families that volunteer to work concessions and $125 for non-volunteer families, The Summer Hitting and Pitching Academy is the best value in town.
Flexible
We offer 60 sessions throughout the summer. Each family has the option to attend as many or as few sessions as they would like for one low price. Sessions are available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm and on Saturday at 11:00 am. Set your schedule with as many or as few of our 5 available days for what works best for your player and family.
Fun
It's the summer and that means it's time to let loose and have some fun. We will make every session fun for our players as they get better at the game they love.
