Volunteers of the Week (05/16 - 05/23)
Shanera Mackey
Shanera Mackey made it happen for concessions last week and achieved a weekday sales record for the league! In addition, Shanera has invited University East Little League to partner with her for a clothing drive for a ministry to the homeless in the Sugar Creek area. Hats off to Shanera for all the great work she does inside and outside the league.
Robert Welch
When the head coach of the Monarchs had to step back to address an important family matter, Robert Welch stepped in to fill the gap. Robert let Coach Majesty know that we got his back and that UELL sticks together like glue! Coach Welch, signed up as an official assistant coach and he is getting the job done! Kudos!
Bob Cowherd
If you haven’t noticed, pitching is getting a WHOLE lot better in the Minors division and this is thanks to Bob Cowherd for training our pitchers in the fundamentals! Bob Cowherd is an assistant coach for the Machine Pitch Killerbees, but that did not stop him from recognizing the need to get involved beyond his own team. Coach Bob volunteered to train pitchers and kicked off our first ever weekly pitching clinic. Hats off!
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE LEAGUE!
